Webinar: One Faith, One Voice: A Shared Commitment to Health and Wholeness
August 13 at 9:00 to 10:15 am EDT / 13:00 to 14:15 GMT
In November 2025, Christian faith and health leaders from 10 countries gathered at a consultation hosted by CCIH, the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), and the Africa Christian Health Associations Platform (ACHAP) to address daunting health challenges and seek solutions. The leaders developed a Unity Statement at the consultation calling for greater national investment and global solidarity to sustain health services, ensure equitable access to care, and reaffirm the Church’s commitment to health.
Join us to hear from leaders from Cameroon, Ghana, Uganda, and Zambia who took part in the consultation share how they are using their voices to advocate for health and wholeness. Christian faith and health leaders will share how they are transforming dialogue into action, showing that collaboration, leadership, and trust can drive lasting change in health systems and communities.
Featuring:
- Rt. Rev. Assoc. Prof. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa, Bishop of Ankole Diocese, Church of Uganda
- Mrs. Karen Sichali-Sichinga, Chief Executive Officer, Churches Health Association of Zambia
- Mr. Peter Yeboah, Executive Director, Christian Health Association of Ghana
The session will be moderated by Rev. Prof. Mbengu David Nyiawung, General Secretary, Council of Protestant Churches of Cameroon. Register
