For Individual CCIH Members: Please make sure your membership is up to date. If you are not sure, you can email membership (at) ccih.org to check.

  • The same cancellation policy (see above) applies to deferred payments.
  • You will be responsible for payment if you cancel late or do not attend the meeting and have not canceled your registration by April 7.

Travel & Logistics

Below is information and guidance to help you prepare for entry into the Philippines. Please note that immigration rules can change, so always verify with official sources (embassy, Philippine Bureau of Immigration, and airline) before travel.

General Requirements and Process

All foreign passengers arriving into the Philippines must complete the eTravel System – a digital data collection platform – within 72 hours (3 days) prior to their arrival into the Philippines. It is free to register.

Some tips:

  • CCT – TAGAYTAY RETREAT & TRAINING CENTER comes up as a hotel option. (You may select that.)
  • Reason for travel: Select CONVENTION / CONFERENCE
  • At the end: take a screenshot or download the QR code before closing or exiting eTravel. You’ll need to show it prior to boarding your flight.
  • You will need a Passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond your arrival date.
  • You will need a return or onward ticket showing your exit from the Philippines.

Check visa-free eligibility
Many nationalities may enter the Philippines without a visa for short stays (30 days or less) for business, provided certain conditions are met.

Visit this page provided by the Philippine government to check if you will need a visa based on your home country.

If you do need a visa (If your country is not visa-exempt)

You will need to apply for a visa (e.g. Temporary Visitor Visa / Non-Immigrant 9(a)) at a Philippine Embassy or Consulate in your home country.

What To Expect At The Meeting

What can I expect for housing?

TRTC is a Christian retreat center, not a hotel.

  • In an effort to support eco-friendly and sustainable measures, TRTC charges 80.00 Filipino pesos for every additional towel request or replacement.
  • TRTC observes a lights-out curfew at 10:00 PM. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • Room/s can only be occupied by the same sex or by members of the same family. Email events (at) ccih.org if you are a married couple.
  • Shoes should be removed upon entering the lobby and stored in the shoe cabinet at the building doorway.
  • Windows in the rooms should not be left open.

How should I dress?

  • Dress for the conference is business casual, and the grounds can be a little hilly, so wear comfortable shoes.
  • Ties for men are not necessary.
  • The weather is usually warm and fairly dry this time of year. There will be air-conditioning in the meeting room, bring a light sweater or other layer for inside.

Should I bring insect repellent?

Yes. There are biting insects in the Philippines and insect repellent is recommended.

Will there be interpretation (translation)?

No, the meeting will be conducted in English.

Do I need to bring a voltage converter for my electronic devices?

The Philippines uses 220V / 60Hz with plug types A, B (like the U.S.), and C. Most devices (phones, laptops) are dual voltage (100–240V) and only need a plug adapter. If your device is 110V only (U.S.-only), you’ll need a voltage converter.

Does the meeting offer Continuing Education credits?

You will receive a CCIH Certificate for attending the Regional Meeting. However, we are not able to offer any continuing education credits for this meeting.

Health Information

  • CCT-TRTC is a smoke-free and alcohol-free facility.
  • The center will provide first aid treatment and transportation to and from the nearest hospital.
